Major Paul and Barbara Logan are the corps officers for The Salvation Army in Springfield. The Logans moved here from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Both have been Salvation Army Officers for 25 and 24 years, respectively. "We are excited about the future of The Salvation Army in Springfield and enjoy working with the community to enhance services available," said Major Paul Logan. The Majors lead all operations for The Salvation Army in Sangamon County.
Major Paul Logan was born in Charles City, Iowa and grew up in Crystal Lake, Il. He has a Bachelors Degree in Management of Human Resources and graduated from The Salvation Army Officers Training College in 1981. He has traveled to Ireland and Peru for Short term missions and is a member of the First Responder Team for Disasters in New York (9/11), Florida Hurricanes, Gulf Coast and in the Wisconsin area.
Major Barbara Logan was born in Boscobel, WI and grew up in Dubuque, IA. She is finishing her Bachelor in Practical Ministries and graduated from The Salvation Army Officers Training College in 1982. She has traveled to Jamaica and Haiti for short term missions and is Disaster Team Member, responding to New York (9/11), the Mississippi floods and local disasters.
